Gifts

The most important thing to us is to celebrate our wedding day with you. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, we will gratefully accept a cash contribution towards our honeymoon.

If an online payment is preferable, we will be accepting e-transfers (Canada) to either of the following emails:

If you wish to give a physical gift, we are registered at amazon.ca here.

Alternatively to a gift, guests are encouraged to make a donation to the The 519 Community Centre (link attached). Making brunch and watching Drag Race on the weekend is one of our favourite traditions and we want to support this great community resource.

You Must Have Some Questions

Q: Do I get a plus one?
A:  For this event we ask that only those addressed on the invitation or received a plus one attend the event.

Q: When should I RSVP by?
A: Please RSVP by August 1st 2023

Q: What is the menu for dinner?
A: Dinner will be buffet style provided by the Lancaster Smoke House, with veggie, meat and cheese trays at cocktail hour. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Please let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance on your RSVP.

Q: Are kids invited
A: We love your kids, but the wedding ceremony and reception will be for adults only.

Q: What are the wedding colours?
A: The colours are dark jewel tones and the Bridesmaids will be wearing black!

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Please arrive at the venue around 5-5:30 pm

Q: Can I take photos during the Ceremony
A: We love our photographer and you will too! Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony!

Q: What is the situation with the Bar
A: There will be an open bar that will serve wine, beer, and simple mixed drinks. Please drink responsibly!

Q: What happens if I show up late to the ceremony?
A: If you arrive late, please wait in the foyer for our wedding planner Melina to escort you to a seat in the back.

Q: What is appropriate for cocktail attire?

A: A small step above semi-formal, though not as formal as black-tie optional or black-tie, cocktail attire is a popular dress code choice. It's a balance between elegant and comfortable and typically more formal than a day wedding. Instead of a floor-length dress, women should opt for a tea-length, knee-length, or midi dress. Men are required to wear a suit and tie, regardless of the wedding's setting. Remember to look classy and polished.

Wedding Colors

The wedding's theme is moody and dramatic. If you are wondering what to wear, here are some colour suggestions. The Bridesmaids will be wearing black!
